Dr. Amanda Levitt specializes in natural health care for women and children. Her goal is to build lasting relationships with her patients and help them and their families live happier, healthier lives.

Dr. Levitt uses her expertise in nutrition, herbal medicine, and other natural therapies to treat digestive problems, hormonal imbalances, menstrual disorders, menopausal symptoms, and a wide range of general health concerns.

As a doctor and mother of three, Dr. Levitt is personally and professionally equipped to treat a wide array of common childhood illnesses. She is able to offer natural alternatives to conventional treatments and often helps the “difficult to treat” cases. Her clinical experience and willingness to collaborate with other providers assures comprehensive, patient-centered health care.

Dr. Levitt is a Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude graduate from University of Arizona. She earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University, the premier natural medicine university. She completed her residency training at the Evergreen Center for Integrative Medicine, a multidisciplinary outpatient facility where she learned the art of collaborative care. She had the unique opportunity to practice medicine with medical doctors, naturopathic doctors, acupuncturists, and massage therapists, which taught the value of integrative medicine.

Dr. Levitt also enjoys teaching. Her experience includes an adjunct faculty position supervising student clinicians for the University of Bridgeport’s Naturopathic Medicine program. She also teaches botanical medicine coursework for the Master of Nutrition program. Her lecture experience includes Bastyr University, Yale University, University of Bridgeport, Cornish College, Southern Connecticut State University, and many community venues.
